Here at SciShield, we make it happen. SciShield is a rapidly growing company that specializes in providing enterprise safety and compliance Software as a Service (SaaS). We continually aim to streamline laboratory safety and regulatory compliance management to increase safety and productivity, and decrease costs, hassle, and risk.
The ideal candidate will be engaging and build rapport with prospects through listening and empathizing with their challenges. We are looking for someone to drive new business through a multifaceted outreach effort using our digital marketing platform, HubSpot, and phone outreach. If you are looking for a corporate job and to punch a time clock, this position is not for you. We are a team of problem-solving, hard-working, and gritty individuals that work hard, play hard, and feel a responsibility to change the world of research.
This position is currently based in our Cambridge, MA office, but will be moving to a brand new build-out office space in the Spring of 2020 across from Government Center in Boston. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a fair use vacation policy.

Represent the SciShield solution to research organizations and higher education
Identify, develop, and manage a growing sales pipeline of qualified opportunities
Demonstrate strong skills in engaging and qualifying prospects
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as help educate the market on emerging technologies and all of the amazing things we are doing at SciShield to reduce researcher burden, increase safety, and drive revenue for research organizations
Develop strong habits for sourcing new leads, setting up outbound messaging through HubSpot, and following up on warm leads by phone
Represent SciShield at trade show, conferences, and local industry events

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through phone, email, and a digital marketing platform
Willingness to learn how to communicate with executives at all levels through ongoing training
High-energy self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little day-to-day supervision
Ability to handle multiple deadlines and priorities
A background in laboratory science or Environmental Health and Safety would be a bonus
Must maintain communication and transparency across multiple teams
