Overview
SciShield is seeking a highly skilled Software Configuration Specialist to join our team. The Software Configuration Specialist will directly support the Implementation and Customer Engagement Teams of the SciShield Professional Services division. You will be responsible for configuring, importing, and testing customer configurations to deliver a successful solution within the defined implementation and/or engagement plan timeline. This position may have direct customer interactions. The successful candidate must be comfortable working either independently, in an office setting and/or with a remote team.

Responsibilities
- Act as a primary resource for timely configurations, supporting SciShield implementation and post-implementation needs
- Follow defined configuration processes, while also providing recommendations and solutions as necessary
- Document and outline best practices and instructional guides for ongoing imports and configuration processes for internal and external users
- Develop and maintain expertise in our product offerings, including back-end configuration and setup
- Manage and maintain solid working relationships with team members across multiple departments, and facilitate seamless implementations of new customer site setup and configuration and support of existing customer systems
- Effectively communicate with team members across divisions, including communication with technical team members to discuss requirements and solutions, and providing regular status updates on deliverables
- Complete tasks within a designated schedule, comfortably escalating issues, if applicable

- Maintain high-level of organization. Prioritize competing tasks and responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
Requirements
- 2-3 years professional experience working in software support or implementation, preferably SaaS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to participate in a team environment
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and/or projects and communicate business and technical guidance
- Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize while being flexible and adaptable
- Ability to interpret workflows and apply business strategies for improvement
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly proficient in Excel to perform data evaluation, formulas, analytics, and comfortably manipulate data in spreadsheets. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite applications Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with software troubleshooting and testing strongly preferred
- Experience in Jira and Zendesk preferred
